Youth Programmes

aliveasfire.jpgYoung people are the engines that drive the human machine.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe put tremendous emphasis on the significance of youth recognising the power they possess encouraging them to use that power for the good.

The Lubavitch Youth Organisation has branches all over the world allowing young people to explore their Jewish identity and to share their spiritual experiences with others.

Through a vibrant network of Chabad centres, Rabbis, Rebbetzins and youth leaders, Lubavitch offers a varied range of activities including camps, shabbatons, arts and crafts, sports as well as educational opportunities such as study groups, bar and bar mitzva programmes and other classes.

abbott.jpgOut-of-school activities organised by Lubavitch have enabled thousands of young people to enjoy the rich and varied programmes full of the vitality of Judaism. For many of them, the clubs, youth groups and camps which Lubavitch offer are their prime encounter with Jewish life.

Growing up isn't easy and young people are exposed to an increasinglu daunting array of pressures in their lives. When the going gets tough, Lubavitch serves as a support network for young people in need providing one-to-one counselling and advice, a substance abuse programme and crisis counselling.
