Lubavitch Ruth Lunzer Girls' Primary School

school2.jpgThe Lubavitch Ruth Lunzer Girls' Primary school caters for girls aged 4 to 11. The school admits pupils of all backgrounds within the Jewish community. The school is part of a network of international institutions which operate on the principles of the Lubavitch movement which was established more than 200 years ago.

The school was originally part of the Lubavitch House Schools, which were founded in 1959. In April 2004, the school achieved Voluntary Aided (VA) status under the umberalla of the Learning Trust (Hackney Local Authority). However the school continues to maintain and enjoy close links with its sister former partner schools.

Located in the Lubavitch Foundation headquarters building on Stamford Hill in north London, the school is easily accessible by public transport.

 

Aims
Catering for the physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual well-being of our pupils.
Curriculum
The school provides pupils with a broad and balanced curriculum which integrates religious education with secular studies.
Kodesh Studies
The Kodesh Curriculum allows students to develop a thorough understanding of the foundation upon which Jewish life is structured.
General Studies
In the Foundation Stage. pupils work towards the Early Learning Goals. In the primary phase, pupils are taught all National Curriculum subjects.
Resources
The school is well-resourced to meet the demands of the curriculum and support teaching and learning in all subjects.
Behaviour Management
The behaviour management philosophy is based on the rights and responsibilities of all members of the school community.
