Lubavitch House is home to a heavily-used swimming pool used by over 400 people in the local Jewish community.
Although some public pools now have single-gender sessions, the Lubavitch pool remains the most religiously acceptable swimming venue for the strictly-orthodox community.
It is very heavily-used by the Lubavitch and by the local strictly-orthodox community, for single-gender swimming lessons during and outside school hours, for training in life-guarding, for leisure sessions, and for exercise sessions (aquaerobics).
The pool is used by the boys’ and girls’ junior and primary schools, by boys’ and girls’ youth groups, and by adult groups.
